Given the synthetic core ability to elongate, it is ideally suited to dynamic loading applications where flexibility and energy distribution are required. Typical applications would include sporting goods (e.g. skis, surfboards, wakeboards) or where there is a requirement to conform to curvature.

RhinoKore S150 lightweight honeycomb core is manufactured in 4 ft. x 8 ft. panels or custom sizes, in thicknesses ranging from 1/4 in. to 6 in. Available with foam injection or without, both styles of core can be finished with additional skinning or facings, making them paintable or fully finished.

Being polypropylene, the fibers used in the production of the honeycomb core fabric will not support the growth of mildew or fungi. In addition to the flexibility properties mentioned above, S150 foam injected honeycomb core is less than half the weight of plywood and is not susceptible to rot.
